We had a great weekend... flew by like always. God is doing amazing things here and we are just trying to keep up with the vision. Friday Night was great at upStreet. Dan pulled out all the stops as he launched our new series "On the trail". He transformed our entire youth room into a western desert... We even had a horse out front welcoming our kids as they came. Avalee loved the horse - I'll have to post a picture of her and the horse later.I had the great privilege of meeting Jon and Kate Gosselin from the discovery health show "Jon and Kate plus 8". If you ever watched it you'll know that these two are the nicest people - who have a great challenge of raising twins and sextuplets, but admit to only being able to do it with the Lord's strength. I have a picture of them writing on the chalkboard in the classroom behind the stage. They spoke at Elk Creek Church on Sunday. A friend of mine, my mom and I went to see them. Pastor Mike (of Elk Creek) allowed me to go back and meet them, and even ask them some questions of my own -- VERY COOL!
